Our last fling before the start of school was a day at the fair with some of our favorite people. Dave and Heidi Tennent picked us up and we were on our way to Monroe. Soon we joined Kyle, Terra, Allison, and Allison's other grandma and papa, Larry and Linda Kling.
Bob and I hadn't been to a fair for ages so it was such fun to enjoy the goats, rabbits, pigs and cows along with great fair food: scones, corn dogs, and some really good beef BBQ sandwiches compliments of the Shriners (thank you Jim and Marilyn).
The best part was just hanging out with our family and being delighted with watching Allison enjoy the rides, animals, and the food.
