Time is a'flyin! It's May 2 today. There are several things filling up our days and minds right now:
1. Most importantly, Caleb is due in about 27 days!
2. Easter 2009
3. School is out June 16.
4. I'll be teaching science next year; a big change.
5. We celebrate 41 years of marriage on May 4.
Little Caleb Kyle Hutchison is about to make his entrance into the world. Terra had a checkup this last Thursday and everything is going well. Because Allison was a c-section, there is a chance that Caleb will be, too. However, if Terra goes into labor before June 3 (Daddy Kyle's birthday), the doctor said she will more than likely be able to go naturally. That would be the perfect end to this pregnancy -- recovery is so much quicker. The Lord knows and we are all trusting him to allow what needs to happen happen.

Easter Sunday Brunch was at our house this year. We had a great family time with eleven of us gathering and eating yummy food compliments of Grandma Nancy's food network recipe box: Great-Grandma's Ona and Marie, Great Aunt and Uncle Bart and Shelley, our two kids Chad and Sandra & Kyle and Terra, our granddaughter Allison.

Things at school have been really hectic. The spring quarter is always a challenge: kids are anxious for summer -- lots of sports and late nights = tired middle schoolers. So an already challenging job becomes more so. We've been administering state testing and trying to finish up curriculum and keep the kids busy. Adding to all of this is getting ready for next year and going through some big changes as a staff.
As part of the changes for me next year, I'll be teaching 7th grade science which will be a big change. For the past several years my focus has been on 7th grade reading, writing and social studies. I'll need to move rooms (which, in and of itself, is a huge job), learn about several physical science topics and be ready to roll next September. The good news is that school is out for the summer in less than 27 school days.
On May 4, Bob and I celebrate 41 years of marriage. It doesn't seem possible that it's been an entire year since this time last year when so many of our friends and family helped us celebrate our 40th! Time goes by so fast. I love you, Bob.
